Firm History
The firm was established by John Pastro in 1993. Having worked for 10 years in a large Melbourne city based law firm, John decided he wanted to offer his local community a more personalised level of service with a dedicated approach to each individual client’s circumstances. He was able to do this by starting his own practice in his local area in which he has lived for over 35 years.
In 2005, John went on to purchase what had long been the JPLegal headquarters at 94 Burgundy Street, Heidelberg. He subsequently and lovingly restored, extended and renovated the historical building to adapt to the growth of the firm and in the ensuing years has been fortunate enough to be joined by family and a team who each bring their own unique qualities to the culture of the firm. The firm remains boutique in size which enables clients to gain personal, expert advice and services in a timely value-based manner which due to their nature, larger firms are unable to offer.
